Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026. These terms govern your access to the PitchCore Cricket Data API and the getcricketapi.com platform.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the PitchCore developer portal, website (getcricketapi.com), or edge API gateway (data.getcricketapi.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Tenant" or "Developer") and PitchCore Cricket Technologies ("PitchCore", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Provision of API Services

PitchCore grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our live cricket data feeds, including ball-by-ball telemetry, scorecards, commentary, playing XI, and prediction endpoints, subject to the quota and rate limits associated with your subscribed plan.

  • Starter Plan: Capped at 1,000 monthly calls and up to 2 requests per second (RPS). Live scores refresh every 15 seconds.
  • Business Plan: Capped at 100,000 monthly calls and up to 20 RPS. Live scores use the same 15-second refresh.
  • Custom Enterprise: Dedicated negotiated RPS and route quotas documented in separate enterprise service agreements.

3. API Key Security & Credentials

API keys issued by PitchCore are confidential credentials. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your keys. You must never expose secret keys in client-side applications (mobile APKs, browser JavaScript, public repositories). PitchCore reserves the right to immediately suspend or rotate any key suspected of being compromised or exposed.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Attempting to bypass rate limiting (HTTP 429) or proxy quotas via distributed botnets or forged headers.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to discover upstream origin feeds.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or providing direct access to raw PitchCore endpoints to third parties without prior written enterprise approval.
  • Using data for unlawful operations or deceptive practices in violation of applicable jurisdictional laws.

5. Fees, Invoicing & Taxes

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual cycle. All applicable taxes (including 18% Goods and Services Tax [GST] for Indian entities) are itemized at billing. Invoices with compliant GST identification numbers (GSTIN) are generated upon payment completion and are accessible via the Tenant Console.

6. Service Level Availability (SLA) & Disclaimers

PitchCore strives for 99.9% uptime across all public API gateway endpoints. However, cricket match data feeds rely in part on live match telemetry. Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitchCore disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PitchCore Cricket Technologies be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our cricket data feeds. PitchCore's total aggregate liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to PitchCore in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law & Contact

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
